

Ended my OJ feast a few days ago. My persimmons came ripe really early. Can't let those go to waste. So I still have alot of oranges to eat/drink and persimmons. I will say my OJ feast left me feeling cleaned out and re-energized.
today's menu:
breakfast - orange juice
9 mile run (beautiful fall day, clear and sunny)
lunch - green drink (chard/carrots/oj) and kiwis
dinner - persimmons
Rainbow chard is so beautiful to look at. So I made a really great wrap yesterday with the leaves. I took 1/2 of a small avocado mixed it with lime and little bit of sweet onion (a little goes a long way). Then I spread the mixture on the leaves and added some carrots and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Oh my it was so good! But now I am out of tomatoes. Next order will be cases of heirlooms. They are in right now and so delish!
