

I have been spoiled by this fall weather we are having. This last week it has been dry, sunny and 40F. Can't beat that for nice runs in the mountains. Been getting some good miles in with hill training.
I made some raw chocolate milk for me after my run to add some extra calories for me. I take coconut water with some meat (though the meat is optional) and dates and blend. It is so full of sugar and sweeteness! The milk on the left was for my daughter so I strained out the chunks. The one on the right was for me, chunks and all.
And I have been still enjoying my persimmon/date pudding. I can't get enough of it. I sometimes add bananas to it to add more calories. I am really burning through the calories right now. I think maybe the cold weather has something to do with it too along with running everyday.
I so far have managed to avoid all the sickness going around too. Haven't had a sniffle in 4 years. Nothing! I hope it stays that way. Four things that are key for me for not getting sick: my diet, sleep, hyrdration and low stress.
